How It Works
RemLock® uses finely milled iron oxide particles suspended in a stable colloidal form. Once injected:

The colloidal suspension travels through soil pores, dispersing evenly throughout the treatment zone. - Particle Attachment
Particles adhere to the soil matrix, forming a permeable in situ adsorption barrier. - Metal Adsorption
As groundwater flows through the barrier, dissolved metals bind strongly to the iron oxide surface through sorption and co-precipitation mechanisms. - Long-Term Stability
The minerals are thermodynamically stable under environmental conditions, preventing release even with pH fluctuations.
