Carus has been a dedicated member of the ACC and a leader in product stewardship since the early days of Responsible Care®. We have developed comprehensive product stewardship summaries for Carus potassium permanganate, sodium permanganate, blended phosphates, zinc and orthophosphates, catalysts, and sodium chlorite products. Our commitment extends to adopting world-class management practices, partnering with independent auditors, and tracking performance metrics across environmental, health, safety, and security domains.

By requiring companies to identify and manage risks associated with their products, REACH ensures substances are safely used and effectively communicated through risk management measures. Carus Europe serves as the lead registrant for all Carus liquid and solid permanganate brands and as the sole representative for all CARULITE® catalyst brands across Europe, demonstrating our commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible chemical stewardship.

Established in 1948 to enhance the quality of products used in the drinking water sector, Kiwa certification underscores our commitment to safe and effective water treatment solutions. Certified products include CARUSOL® and CARUSOL® C liquid permanganates, and AQUOX® Free Flowing Grade potassium permanganate.
